2. Services

Park Lawn Heating and Cooling Inc. provides residential, commercial, and condo HVAC services including repair, installation, maintenance, and emergency services for furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, ductless mini splits, fan coil units, water heaters, pool heaters, and gas line services.

Service availability, pricing, and timelines are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to provide accurate estimates and timelines, but actual service conditions, parts availability, and scheduling may vary. All service work is performed by licensed and certified HVAC technicians.

We serve Etobicoke, Toronto, Mississauga, and surrounding communities in the Greater Toronto Area. Service outside our primary coverage area may be subject to additional travel charges or availability constraints.

3. Estimates and Pricing

All estimates and quotes provided by Park Lawn Heating and Cooling Inc. are based on information available at the time of assessment and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Estimates are free of charge and do not obligate you to use our services.

Final pricing may vary from the initial estimate if additional work is required, unforeseen conditions are discovered during service, or if you request changes to the scope of work. We will always communicate any changes and obtain your approval before proceeding with additional work.

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes, including HST. Payment terms will be specified on your invoice and are generally due upon completion of service unless alternative arrangements have been agreed upon in writing.

4. Appointments and Cancellations

We strive to arrive within the scheduled appointment window. However, due to the nature of HVAC emergency services and unforeseen circumstances, arrival times are estimates and not guaranteed. We will make every reasonable effort to notify you of any significant delays.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a service call fee. Emergency cancellations will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

5. Warranties and Guarantees

Park Lawn Heating and Cooling Inc. provides a workmanship warranty on all repair and installation services. The specific warranty period and terms will be provided on your service documentation and may vary depending on the type of work performed.

Equipment and parts installed by Park Lawn Heating and Cooling Inc. are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty claims for equipment must be processed through the manufacturer and are subject to their terms and conditions. We will assist you with the warranty claim process.

Our workmanship warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, improper maintenance, acts of nature, or normal wear and tear. Regular maintenance is required to maintain warranty coverage and optimal system performance.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Park Lawn Heating and Cooling Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of our website or services.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which the claim is brought.

Park Lawn Heating and Cooling Inc. is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, building code violations, or system incompatibilities that may affect service outcomes. We recommend a full system assessment before major installations or upgrades.

9. Payment Terms

Payment for services is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment by cash, cheque, credit card, debit card, and electronic transfer. Late payments may be subject to interest charges at the rate of 2% per month (24% per annum) or the maximum rate permitted by law, whichever is lower.

For larger installation projects, a deposit may be required before work commences. The deposit amount and payment schedule will be detailed in your service agreement or estimate. All deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Park Lawn Heating and Cooling Inc., its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of our website or services, your violation of these Terms and Conditions, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
